We are currently hiring individuals to work a variety of shifts in our outbound call centre. We are looking for positive, energetic, dedicated Bilingual (French) Telephone Interviewers to conduct market research and customer satisfaction surveys. There are NO sales involved!
What we offer:
- Part-time as well as permanent positions.
- A supportive atmosphere with flexible scheduling; ideal for those with a busy lifestyle. Depending on your availability, shifts may be as little as 5 hours/week or as high as 35+ hours/week; you get to choose how much or how little you work!
- Ability to work from home.
- Full training; call centre experience is an asset but not required.
- Our office is open from 9 AM to 9 PM, and we have a variety of shifts available for all hours that we are open.
- 10-minute drive from the universities and a 15-minute bus ride to Conestoga Mall. Located on a bus route (Elmira 21) and free parking is available.
- The base wage is $15.25/hour when working in English with additional hourly earning potential depending on the project. If you are bilingual, you will earn $17.50/hour when working in French.
What we look for:
- Candidates must have great communication skills, be outgoing, and love talking to people on the phone.
- Able to follow instructions and read from a questionnaire on a computer screen.
- Reliability, punctuality, and interpersonal skills are also necessary requirements.

We are looking for a software developer with a passion for solving complex and interesting problems. As a developer in our newly formed group, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining new AI mobile and web-based applications. This is a unique opportunity to be at the ground floor and take on a critical role in building our software team.
The ideal applicant is a generalist with software development experience, along with an interest in data science fundamentals. This role will work closely with our software development team to deliver AI-driven features and models. In addition to having strong technical skills, the successful candidate will also contribute to ideation and brainstorming as part of a cross functional data science team working towards delivering successful MVPs.
Qualifications:
- Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor’s degree or related technical field with equivalent practical experience.
- 1+ years’ experience with Node.js and/or python Django development environments.
- Software developer using the following technologies: Python, JavaScript, JWC, Linux, bash scripts, and Docker to manage different environments.
- Hands on experience designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting RESTful API.
- Experience with APIs using Microservice Architecture, NodeJS, TDD, design patterns , ExpressJS, Mongoose, AWS EC2, Visual Code and GitLab.
- Create and maintain the production environment with Nginx (Web Server), Gunicorn (Proxy / Web Server Gateway Interface).
- Manage DNS and SSL certificates.
- Experience implementing cloud-based data analysis. Preferably using AWS services (S3, Lambda, Kinesis, Athena etc.)
- Relational and non-relational DB technology (MySQL and MongoDB)
- Experience working within professional software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source code management, build processes and testing
- Experience with code merging and branching methodologies using Git protocol and code release process.
- Strong team player with track record of collaboration and experience working as part of an agile team
- Ability to propose, advocate and critique design alternatives to determine solutions
- Good written and oral communications skills
The Market Research Data Assistant will report to the Senior Data Analysts and will be responsible for assisting the data team with various aspects of the process including, but not limited to: compiling, preparing, and analyzing survey data as well as assisting in the creation of summary documents.
Specific Accountabilities:
- Prepare surveys for field, including programming surveys into online survey tool and survey testing
- Clean and prepare data for senior data team members
- Create syntax files in SPSS to run data tables
- Recode open-ended responses
- Analyze survey data
- Create graphs and tables for reports
- Create PowerPoint summaries
- Verify work completed by other team members
- Assist senior staff in the completion of projects
- Various administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- University degree or college diploma
- Experience working with SPSS, Excel, and PowerPoint
- An advanced level of attention to detail
- An understanding of survey design would be considered an asset

As a Data Scientist, you will provide high-level data analysis support to our team’s Data Science Business Unit. In this role, you will have the opportunity to compile and analyze large data sets, apply advanced analysis techniques to discover trends and patterns, build algorithms and predictive models, and create reports to communicate the results to clients.
Those most apt to succeed in this position will possess strong planning, organizational, and time management skills, have the ability to be resourceful and self-reliant, and would describe themselves as proactive and self-motivated.
Hours: Approximately 20-30 hours per week, with an opportunity to transition into 40 hours per week in the future
Specific Accountabilities:
- Provide data analysis support to Data Science Business Unit
- Identify and propose solutions for business problems
- Prepare data files for analysis
- Compile data using statistical software as applicable
- Interpret survey data and analyze results using statistical techniques
- Identify and interpret trends/patterns in reports
- Make recommendations and perform SWOT analyses
- Participate in client meetings as required
Qualifications:
- University degree or college diploma in a related field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics (or equivalent experience)
- Experience using statistical programming languages (R, Python, etc.) for analyzing datasets would be an asset
- Familiarity with SPSS is an asset
- Strong statistical and data analysis skills and knowledge of various analysis techniques such as regression analysis, tests of significance, and cluster analysis
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- An understanding of survey design would be an asset
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently as well as part of a small team. Availability between 10 am to 4 pm EST weekdays is preferred. Option to work remotely.
